Al-Khalil (Hebron) is one of Palestine’s oldest cities, and the most occupied city in the West Bank. In Al-Khalil, Israeli settlers have built homes on top of Palestinian homes, destroyed streets and storefronts, and made life difficult for all Palestinian residents for decades.
Ghassan is a dear friend of ours at Made in Palestine, and his family in Al-Khalil desperately need your help. Ghassan’s family owned a store near Al-Khalil’s Ibrahimi Mosque, selling Palestinian-made gifts. After October 7th, due to strict lockdowns imposed by the Israeli Military, the family were forced to close their business - loosing their primary source of income. This year his three sisters were unable to attend university due to the ongoing war, and with the family business closed the living situation is worsening.
“Our business is closed and things are getting even harder”, shared Ghassan with our team.
Ghassan and his brother Wasim are asking for your support. Not only to help their family, but to support the brothers in creating new opportunities to distribute funds throughout their local community.
All donations made through the Made in Palestine donation portal throughout September and October will be sent directly to Ghassan’s family. We thank you for your support.

This voluntary-run work includes carrying medical aid across the checkpoints, re-building destroyed homes, and distributing food and financial aid where needed. All updates on our work within the Refugee Camps will be shared to our community, and we thank each and every donor for their support during this difficult time.
